About Alaska CEC

The Alaska Council for Exceptional Children connects educators, families, and advocates across the state, from Utqiaġvik to Ketchikan to Unalaska and everywhere in between. We share Alaska-focused updates, resources, and professional learning that reflect the realities of our schools and communities. Together, we connect Alaskan educators, advocate for strong special education services, and serve as a resource for families and professionals statewide. We partner with organizations across Alaska to strengthen support for exceptional learners and make sure to have some fun along the way, building friendships and community across the miles.
